Today I have the honor to premiere an artist that I deeply respect, releasing on a label with a special place in my heart.

Mary Yuzovskaya is a vinyl only DJ, producer and a label owner, with more than 15 years of experience and presence in the electronic music scene. Her life journey is one with many and exciting chapters. The beginning of her music career began in Berlin in the early 2000s, continued in New York in 2013, and made a full circle back to Berlin with her latest relocation in 2020.

She has toured the world, showcasing her craft and undeniable love for vinyl, which has certainly touched many minds and hearts. In addition to her success as a DJ, Mary’s talent and dedication have brought her becoming a producer with releases on labels such as Semantica, System Revival, upcoming Kvalia Records, and her very own Monday Off Records. 

For the 6th release of the Swedish Kvalia Records owned and curated by Linny Hex, Mary leaves the realm of the deep hypnotic techno, and surprises the audience with a more percussive and stripped down EP consisting of 3 dacefloor oriented techno cuts. The B1 - Schlaf is the track premiere of the EP, which is a strong statement of the recent mood of the artist, and conicidently the sound direction of Kvalia at the moment.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents the second chapter of its 79th release: Francesco Tamburrano – The Gambler. Postscript I

Venice shrouded in a haze of electric reflections, canals stretching like lines of fate, masks on faces, and behind them – rhythms that govern the mind. Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno) returns with The Gambler. Postscript I – a remix album. Since the original album was a musical reinterpretation of the novel The Gambler by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, the continuation is conceptually shaped exclusively by Russian dub techno masters. They rewrote the album’s map like chess players maneuvering through time and space. Eight tracks, eight remixes, each crafted by Russian artists fluent in the dialects of shadow, echo, and spatial depth.

The album opens with “Alexei Ivanovich (Nebula Alchemists (@enercube and @x_fr) Intro)” – an atmospheric portal into introspection, a soft gamble of fate. “Madame de Cominges” is transformed twice: the Chain Selector (@chainselector) and Cossmann (@cossmann-music) remixes construct elegant labyrinths of tension and release, where every beat is a strategic move. “Polina Alexandrovna” unfolds in three interpretations: German F (@german_fed), Sergio Sincopa (@sergiosincopa), and Ekstendia (@ekstendia) reveal her melancholic charm and hidden shades, turning the track into a deep dive through layered textures and hypnotic pulses. “Marquis de Grieux (Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr) Flashback Mix)” vibrates with nostalgia and the rhythm of desire. “Mlle Blanche (BLOMAQ (@blomaq) Remix)” closes the cycle, leaving the listener suspended between light and shadow.

Each composition is alchemy: Francesco’s original vibrations blend with the Russian perspective on dub techno, creating an auditory space where time bends and sound becomes matter. The Gambler. Postscript I is not just a remix album – it’s a game with chaos, an exploration of structure, a descent into a hypnotic labyrinth. For [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], this release is a symbol of dialogue, transformation, and fearless pursuit of the new. The tension between the natural and artificial, the body and mind, are central themes in electronic music in general, and Techno in particular, as the means of creation, focused around technology and interactions with machines, contrast with the emotional response to sound, the mystical ritual of collective dancing, and the ethos of liberation and tolerance embedded in the culture it produced.

We’re navigating a world of engineered pleasures, big data monitoring of movements and consumption habits, and falsely objective representations of reality, further blurred by a reduced attention span and several opaque layers of cultural interpretation and political manipulation.

Manichean simplifications are used to create hate and fear in order to achieve domination and impose limits on freedom, and the irrational belief in endless growth, increasingly disconnected from nature, led to massive environmental destructions and waves of unprecedented extinctions of species.

Our primal sensuous perception, vastly more abstract, emotional and sensual, make us feel the world as an ambiguous realm we are part of, but not in control of ; a complex network of interacting forces and enigmatic patterns, a matrix of overlapping desires. Rebuilding our bonds with nature, Reconnecting with our senses, and spreading love in the process becomes an essential act of resistance.

Hyper Opal Mantis is a triptych on 3 states of desire, and the first long player of Kangding Ray for Stroboscopic Artefacts.
HYPER is the primal, sensual lust, OPAL is the emotional catharsis, a blissful desire for love. MANTIS, like the insect it refers to, is the destructive, fatal attraction.

His aim is to make a record that will stand the testament of time, but shows very clearly how technology and generations after today "techno" become something more based on image or appearance, this record exposes how techno can be melodic, and methodical at the same time, drawing colors and shades of light with few instruments and simply skills. " If Only" and "Stamina" are the result of a one single shot Jam based on some " ingredients" found during experimentation, while "Confession" and " Once in a lifetime" are a way more studied work that takes the listener to a new dimension of sonic sounds palette, making the user wonder if he ever heard something like this, or not.
