I was at this party. it was totally over the top!! I loved Tunnel. I was 19. 

This is my second Junior Vasquez Tribute mix. This mix is an ode to ARENA, the last great party at New York's legendary Palladium (converted theater night club) before big business had the building demolished to make way for more UNAFFORDABLE housing in Manhattan or NYU housing.  Same thing! Anyway, this set is my tribute to the only dj around who truly knew how to fill up a space with sound. All the hits from the club are featured in this tribute,minus one or two. Nevertheless, if you experienced Arena, you will love this mix! I promise.  Work that Arena!

The crowd you hear in the intro is taken from video footage of the last night at Arena!  For those who were fortunate enough to experience those legendary nights, I know it's impossible to duplicate the magic that went on in that place. Here we go, my brother Junior Vasquez beatin' tha beatz on XM'z Boy's Night Out Radio Show. Just listening 2 this  inspires the heck out of me!!! Junior was alwayz so generous by allowing me 2 hang out with him in the DJ Booth. 2 me it was like going 2 school & learning on how he worked the crowd... & let me tell you, brother new how 2 tease by sampling certain tracks & getting the crowd hyped & screaming his name, JUN-YAHHH!!!LOL
Those were magical night's I'll cherish 4 the rest of my earthly life.
