for those that were there in person or in spirit, you can relive the magic of this night with Matt's epic five hour long set with closing speeches as he signed off on 20 years as a career DJ in fantastic style.

Thanks again to the Off The Rails guys for a truly momentous night, and thanks to all of you for your support that we finally get to repay, right here, right now.

Gatecrasher Birmingham’s 20TH BIRTHDAY, THE WARM UP: PART 1 on August 10th boasted an unforgettable atmosphere and exactly what I live for! The night was full of open-minded clubbers who wanted to feast on 2 hours of the latest trance delicacies that I had to offer (sprinkled with a select few, memorable tunes over the years to add to the 20th anniversary sentiment). Every time that I raised my head to look out across the dance-floor, all I could see in front of me was a sea of hands in the air...epic!!

THE LAST EVER SLINKY!!! Try saying that to yourself without getting a little sentimental. What an amazing night which was experienced by all who attended SLINKY CLASSICS - THE SEND OFF. It really was an honour being asked to play, especially after having had so much involvement with this truly cosmopolitan, clubbing brand over the years. These range from playing on Friday nights at the Bournemouth Opera House (now the O2 Academy) to their phenomenal world tours - a real testament to the unique club culture which was rife at the time and to what SLINKY had achieved globally!! :)  

There's no question of a doubt that the mother of all parties was witnessed by all who attended the O2 Academy on Saturday 5th October 2013. Here's my contribution to mark the 16 glorious years of SLINKY!!!
