Il y a quelques temps, une envie de retrouver l'adolescente geek que j'étais a fait surface. Maintenant que la musique fait partie de ma vie, découvrir Ableton m'a semblé être un bon moyen de concilier les deux. 
Je me suis totalement laissé porter par l'exploration des sons, des textures, des techniques, sans penser à mettre quoi que ce soit dans les cases Tata Monique ou Tata Breakbeat. 
Et voilà ce qu'il en est sorti, ce cher et humble Richard. Certains devineront sûrement une combinaison entre mes deux facettes (peut être plus ?), et ça me plaît bien. 
Un truc que j'ai pris au sérieux, mais que je vous partage en totale humilité et décontraction (et un peu de fierté quand même). Enjoy !

For #6 we are welcoming Geelong/Djilang’s own DUK., who has supplied a succession of bouncy and high energy house and tech-house selections. Finding studio time to record a PowerHouse mix while overseas, DUK. has called upon many inspirations from acts seen at ADE. 

My goal for this mix was to try and craft a mix that selects tracks from various genres to keep the listener interested. Channeling the energy as we approach festival season, I wanted to make something that would be played out in the open-air that brings nothing but fun energy. I started getting booked about 2 years ago, where I’ve branched out to play at venues such as Captain, Bloom, ONESIXONE and Side Selection. 

I’ve also started producing my own tracks, with a recently released demo and numerous other releases on my Soundcloud. Recent inspirations for this mix, and my sound in general include L.P Rhythm, Sydney Charles, Denis Sulta and Archie Hamilton.
