As one half of Cosmonauts, P​aul has remixed revered artist’s such as M​oby, Empire Of The Sun a​nd M83.​His solo productions have lauded him more than one spot as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune. Luke is one half of M​edicine 8 w​ho have remixed the likes of O​rbital, Xpress 2, Manic Street Preachers, Kylie Minogue a​nd Tiga a​nd held residencies at the legendary Centro Fly in NYC, Pacha Buenos Airies, Kama Kama Italy and Ministry of Sound London. The first release of the year from Hot Trax comes from the German duo Raumakustik, with Jamie Jones on remix duty. Having had recent releases on a Grain Audio, Ipoly & Mangue Records, “Raider” is their debut on the Hot Creations subsidiary.

Raumakustik deliver a high energy and rhythmic track with ‘Raider’. The industrial tech-heavy sounds are perfectly mixed with catchy drums and a calling bell. Over on the B-side, Jamie Jones delivers a darker remix to drive music lovers to the dancefloor.

Sebastian and Volker are Raumakustik. They have been creating music together for a number of years and believe in creating tracks that will not only bring listeners to the dancefloor but also stay in their memory.

Jamie Jones launched Hot Trax in 2012 after wanting to create a label that moved away from the well-known and popular sounds of Hot Creations. It has been described as a label for the “headstrong” with previous releases coming from Patrick Topping and wAFF.

Miguel Bastida brings some serious subliminal action to the table and the title track kicks things off with a cheeky spoken word passage followed by a quite sleazy bassline. The affair unfolds in a very dubby manner while the crackling rhythm section provides the perfect backdrop for delay effects to unfold. The same vibe is maintained on "As De Ricas" with subtle stabs leading the way and even more sub-bass action holding everything together, while pitched-down vocal edits emanate the necessary darkness.
