Safe Word

Right now Lithophone is reworked under the moneker of Sanctum to become a performance/play/installatione to be peroformed and exhibited in different locations in Sweden druing 2013 and 2014.

Lithophone is an installation playing with our perception of space, sound, light and motion. With a poetic approach the installation choreograph a story about human behavior and mans struggle to create order in a chaotic world. Sound. light and motion animate a ten minute long mechatronic narrative. Sometimes moving chaotically, then evolving to several competing musical and visual forms connected to it's story. Lithophone was shown at Växjö konsthall autumn 2012


Lithophone

I have a background in sound and participatory art and design and hold an MFA in Experience Design from Konstfack. Many of my works have been influenced by motion/ dance and interaction. I am very interested in working with different sensations: visual, sonic as well as tactile to create experiences that unfold over time. The experience created is often supported by new technology and are vital parts of my projects. My focus lies rather in designing time than form. And here you can hear some of the sonica produced.
