Fideles and Kellerkind cross paths into a split EP consisting of six original tracks showcasing their individual yet complemental production styles.

Haptic’s murmuring vocals are at the center of Vitamins, a playful exploration of fluid atmospherics. A clanging bassline provides the backdrop for whirlwinding synths, as the vocals build up an enveloping, dance-inducing tension. Wave Echoes kicks in lively from the get go: a relentless, steady percussion tied into a wandering baseline are the constant mainstays. The melody slowly develops as a fuzzy wandering pad adds another dimension, equally spacious as it is heavy.

Carving light with synth sweeps and spacious reverb, Illumino takes shape as a deep tech introspection. Accented with whirring bits and maintaining an elated undertone, it effectively embodies the ever-ascending, never-releasing groove that’s perfect for peak time hours.

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.

We have the honor to premiere an upcoming Remix of our munich colleagues BAAL. Discovered in the end of 2013, these guys had already delievered stunning warm-up sets and were already set to be upcoming talents from munich back then. Now here we are, almost 4 years later, with releases on Underyourskin, Einmusika, Kittball and munich's own label Autonomica, the gentleman have established themselves in the scene and play gigs around the world. Their remix of Emorine's "Ikhonco" comes close to an upcoming thunderstorm including a nicely processed & rolling main lead, well arranged percussions and patiently layered synths that are able to build around the bassline. It leaves you with a feeling of wanting more, something many artists are hunting for, when producing new sounds... - Hope you'll enjoy!

Emorine's "Ikhonco" EP will be released April 3th on MONO.NOISE.

PREMIERE : Emorine - Ikhonco (BAAL Remix)[MONO.NOISE]

When Summer in Berlin is just as great, you can't do nothing but getting amazing music out of your studio. This is what happened with Einmusik and these three shinning tracks forming the upcoming EP on Sincopat. On remix duties we have back on board another German star: Gabriel Ananda.
 
Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.

Sol Selectas is excited to welcome Kora to the label with his debut 2 track release the "Caddo EP". The title Caddo is inspired by the confederacy of several Southeastern Native American tribes, and the music brings us to a late night ceremony. All the members of the tribe are united and chant together, and thru the native drums we feel the strength of their gathering. Wahiba - co-produced by Nic Falardeau, is the story of a lone nomad wandering the desert, confronting his fears, and overcoming them with his inner spirit.  The faith in his heart guides him along his path. Powel is well known for his soothing deep productions, and appears here on Sol Selectas for his second remix. He brings the Wahiba pilgrimage to even further regions of the sand dunes, blissfully carrying us into the morning sunrise with his unique and patient approach to rhythm. The artwork by Helia Jamali fuses these two spiritual journeys together into one, visualizing the native's eternal quest under a dim moonlit sky, warmed by the fires of  tribal unity.
