A little bit about them :

Serial Experiments started in early 2014, with one hour shows, called "layers", later joined forces with whypeopledance, and became a part of their project. Now typically happening every week, two hours per layer or more, with guest mixes from legends in the scene like Headman, Laurent Pastor or Timothy J Fairplay, to talented newcomers Paresse or id!r.

Genre or popularity does not matter here - vision and creativity does.
Every layer of Serial Experiments is divergent, concerns different themes and contains different music

He is a well known DJ in his country since late 90’s, who has worked as a resident at acclaimed clubs such as Mondo Disko or Sport. 

For Álvaro Madrid is a Rotten City. That’s how he feel it. A city which is struggling to maintain any nightlife and musical momentum, with theatres, cinemas and clubs feeling the wrath of local government and taxation and rinsed by profiteering, shitehawk promoters.

In protest against this and with love for their city, the Madrilian are creating a cabal of local and international artists. First up on limited edition vinyl is Tronik Youth’s “Malice Of Absence”, with mixes from Red Axes and Richard Sen. Future releases come from Timothy J. Fairplay, Jamie Paton and VoX LoW amongst other insurgents.

In the sofa land of “1”s and “0”s there is the digital sibling Rotten City Files. Debut release is from Gatos Negros, whose “Deus Ex Machina” EP wears flares like they will do in This Is England ’90 no doubt.

In addition to this, they have a number of other tracks already signed for 2016, will be launching their own experience based events in Amsterdam late summer called ‘Altered States’ and will be spending time in Australia recording aboriginal music for a compilation towards the end of year. Its an exciting year ahead with lots going on, so watch this space.
