Breaking the circle with a one-off release item consisting of 3 EP's called 'Tales From Tramkade'. At a first listen slightly out of order with the general view of the label's output till date yet still in balance and recognizable as EMERALD catalog. This collection of work by Remco Beekwilder contains recorded loops and concepts initially produced between 2010 - 2015 and now re-assembled, polished and finalized at the authentic Tramkade, 's-Hertogenbosch in 2021. Expect everything within the range of sweet melancholic tenderness and raw to the floor takes.

"Spiral Snare" was recorded by Mike Parker in 1998.  For years, it remained lost until it was rediscovered in an archive of digital audio tapes.  Now "Spiral Snare" gets it's first official release as the B-side of GPH23.  [Official release date (vinyl & digital) in September, 2021.]  Remastered at Enisslab. | Geophone catalog number GPH23.

Today we are proud to announce In-house label 'Another Name's second release 'Et Andet Sted Tribute Album - AN01'. A collection of 22 tracks from artists who have played or been connected to the former DIY rave club in the old vegetable market of Copenhagen, a place called “Et Andet Sted”. The release stretches out and explores the diverse outer reaches of what Copenhagen underground scene is all about, starting with distorted experiment sound, four-to-the-floor house, signature fast techno and trance euphoria.
The album comes in two fully packed CDs with the artwork which will tickle some warm memories of countless hours spent o the dancefloor of the club. The compilation album will also be available in a digital version.

About the club: Et Andet Sted was a unique free space for creative souls, DJ’s and ravers. The place for this sonice parallel universe existed for eith month only but it gave the birth to many new inspirations, music carriers and friendships. It was demolished due to gentrification. It is and will forever be missed.

About the label: Another Name is the in-house label of Copenhagen based nightclub: Ved siden Af, The music representing the sound of the club, the artists that frequent our space and the culture it supports.

After contributing several tracks to compilations, Warnung finally releases his very first EP on Berlin based label AKRONYM, which he also co-founded. „Aerojogging“ is a collection of four extremely powerful and efficiently produced 140+ BPM techno bangers. All tracks are based on loopy and groovy patterns; a quality that predestines them to be played on the appropriate dance floors. It would be shorthand to describe them as „DJ-Tools“, there is something more to it: Every single track has something mysterious about it and as a whole they create this addictive spirit, that is like a hypnotic pull and attracts all the dancers of the night.

Widely celebrated as a pioneer of techno in India, Arjun Vagale continues to steer the course of the country’s underground electronic music movement. Here at Warm Up we continue in our search of valuable artists around the globe, and we have found Oliver Rosemann in this quest. Not every techno artist is capable of developing an album with sense and knowledge, Oliver is. He has been providing quality techno tracks for a long while from his homebase in Leipzig, with a particular sense of groove and rhythm and a recognisable and heavily worked sound design skills. This is his third long player after They call them millions on DIffuse Reality Records from 2016 and The Architect in Konsequent Records in 2020. During twelve cuts he travels through various aspects of electronic music, from the beatles and texturized Raid and Whisperers, to the continuous adrenaline shown on Wanderers or The Profit and the Loss, both in the best metallic Birmingham tradition, the mental travel sweeps and pads in Crossings or the scifi approach of Empire and The Vision. The Lost Moment and Legion go back to minimalistic and metallic repetition while Rage is made to test your resistance near asound system while dancing, a merciless weapon for the peak hours. Foreign Coasts return to sci fi moods but focusing more in asymmetry than bleep action. Closing the release Scarred returns to arhythmic landscapes and relaxation after the gymnastic workout. Atemporal techno made to last, carefully crafted, intelligently arranged and sonically excellent.

Following the acclaimed ‘Funfzig LP’ on Rekids in 2021 as well as his ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’ series on the techno focussed Rekids Special Projects, Mark Broom returns to Radio Slave’s imprint for his latest full length, ‘100% Juice’.

Title track ‘100% Juice’ leads the charge, barreling forward with phased hats and trippy bleeps, before ‘Slush’ carries the rest of the A side with dense synths and stereo trickery. ‘Rainbow’ bridge sees muted chords drifting in and out of focus alongside rattling drum programming before ‘Reverse’ mutates dub techno inspired elements with swathes of spacious FX and pitch-perfect processing. 

Opening the second disc is the aptly titled ‘Wonky Workout’, which sees hard-hitting kicks meeting freaked out leads, followed by the fast-paced ‘I Want’, which brings crunchy, shuffling percussion and effected vocal samples together to devastating effect. The final side of vinyl is the one-two punch of ‘Boxed In’ and ‘Wiggle Me This’, with the former bringing sharp keys, rumbling low end and glistening pads, while the latter closes out the LP with warped acid lines and crisp drums.

Releasing on labels such as Rekids, M-Plant, and Blueprint, the wildly prolific Broom has consistently been at the forefront of the techno scene for decades with his gritty, groove-based output while, away from the dancefloor, his The Fear Ratio project with James Ruskin continues to win critical acclaim.
