Shit, i remember this night clearly.. it was me,murc an my nigga mike. I think my nigga hamadi was there too but im not sure. typical night with max tho, Treez in the air an liquor in the cup.. Leave that man alone an he pops up with a fuckin hit. Murc started writing his verse an his hook an then i wrote mine. We called it level 10 because we were actually going to do a whole project called "level 10" The important part about this record was the fact that i was back an forth from Rockland to queens at the time an had linked up with these 2 djs by the name of E.M.S aka Exclusive Mix source an they were beefin at the time with Kay slay an that was a very much talked about beef on the street. These niggaz wanted a record from me for the mixtape where the cover was kay slay being strangled or some shit. It was a good look for me because i knew it would travel an bring attention, there was only 2 other unsigned artists on the tape, Ava denira from queens an some other nigga.. so i decided to share that experiance with murc an max cuz we was always makin music at the time, why not? they (ems) loved the song so much they put it as track 2 after the intro an there was the birth of shinobi an murc to the masses.. True story, this is probably the 1st song from Rockland county to get played on 4 major mixtapes at a time where the unsigned artist on a mixtape was RARE.. History
