This is the first single from phelte's upcoming EP ‘another shapes’. Finding something sublime and organic in weird in-between sounds from jazz and electronics is the main attribute of this track. Together with grainy asmr textures and clean repetitive bass, it creates a sonic experience perfectly suitable for home listening, even through its micro-house influences.

The enigmatic artist behind the @grainysounds mix series steps out from behind Facebook Page Manager to drop a, quite simply, ridiculous mix as we boot off a new year of the VSVN podcast.

If you know your minimal, you'll know your grainy (well kind of, not really. I mean, you'll know of grainy, but you won't know who grainy is) it's as simple as that. For anyone unaware, grainy runs a mix series where they invite guest DJs to record mixes under an unknown alias, empowering the artist to have complete creative freedom and explore the deepest corners of minimal. 

Basically, if you don't know, get to know. grainy has won the minimal world over with their mysterious mix series and social presence and I'm so happy I can present you this mix by the brains behind the entire operation.

There's not much else I'm allowed to tell you about grainy so I'm going to let the music do the talking. All I'm going to say is prepare for a journey back to a time we were allowed to party 🥺
