8bit welcomes Supernova. The Lapsus Music bosses release their first EP on 8bit. 
First Track is The Wild Weekend, which sets the pace for the whole release with its breakbeat intro, clattering percussion and uber-funky bassline. It's a real floorfiller, with bell sounds and a catchy synth riff along with original-sounding vocal samples. Next comes the less in-your-face Detuned, which starts with an offbeat intro that runs throughout the track with added snares, space-age synths and electro drum patterns which have a distinctly retro feel. Finally you have another floorfiller in the form of Shuffle Tim, which again is a smorgasbord of electro delights, all served up in a grooving fashion with chants and disco stabs of sound that really give it an edge.
