Today’s premiere is from one of the rising stars of deep house in Germany’s Teenage Mutants who has teamed up with fellow hit maker Purple Disco Machine to bring you Suara’s much coveted ‘Summer Hit’ with their new track collaborative track ‘The Path’.

Scheduled to arrive  June 2 it took us but one listen to see why Coyu’s esteemd imprint had dubbed this their ‘Summer Hit’ and not being ones to argue with the kittie loving house maestro we quickly set about securing the track for premiere here at Data Transmission.

Landing just after Suara have announced a 17-week Wednesday night residency at Booom! Ibiza from June 4th – September 24th ‘The Path’ has already had us daydreaming of enjoying it’s Latin American tinged flute riff on the White Isle this summer.

Warning: listening to this track may encourage a sudden and impromptu visit to Ibiza.

Originally written & produced by Juno What?! & Matthew Bandy, the project features the sterling vocals of Jans Ingber. Disco-boogie producers Love Over Money provide a stirring mid-tempo journey which subtly builds into a climatic string ending. Dominican Republic based Macrofunk gives us a Latin influenced gem, an organic interpretation with live percussion, Rhodes & and bass. Finally, completing the package, Matthew Bandy remakes the original into an uplifting, summer house jam for the dance floor.

SIN COS TAN is the new project of ace producer Jori Hulkkonen and VILLA NAH’s Juho Paalosmaa. Having worked together previously on VILLA NAH’s superb debut album ‘Origin’ and on the track ‘Re: Last Year’ from Hulkkonen’s own ‘Man From Earth’ solo record, a further artistic union was almost inevitable. They made their live debut at Helsinki’s Flow Festival this summer 2012.

The superbly pulsating ‘Trust’ showcases the pair’s manifesto to be “a synthesized duo of great promise, broken dreams, and long nights”. Add in sweeping drifts, sharp widescreen cimbalom, danceable but subtle beats and emotive vocals tinged with sadness from Paalosmaa, what more could you want? ‘Trust’ could possibly be the song of 2012…

So while VILLA NAH take a sabbatical and Hulkkonen wears yet another hat (other monikers have included PROCESSORY, ZYNTHERIUS, ACID SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, KEBACID, DRUMMAN, STOP MODERNISTS and THE TANIA & JORI CONTINENTS!), SIN COS TAN are now finishing an album for forthcoming release.
