A set I prepared specifically for the opening party of my collaborative art show at Knew Conscious Gallery in Denver, CO on March 18th, 2014. This was recorded live for all of you who follow my musical journeys into the auditory abyss. Thanks to the beautiful Colorado community for making this a truly magical evening. <3

Thanks to all of the producers and musicians whom I chose their tracks to create a surreal dream state with which to open our evening of blissed out music. My gratitude to Erothyme and Soulacybin for sharing the stage with me as we led people into an evening of chill psychedelic music to accompany our surreal art forms.

Some of you already know that I'm a big lover of Movie Soundtracks. I really like those punchy violins that you can hear in some action movies, so I decided to try to make some. After making a big part of the track, I thought that it was still missing something. I made it to listen to a couple of friends, and one was with his daughter, Elea, 9 years old. It is a 4 track concept EP with dark tones, lots of rhythm and vocals. The concept of this alias is that Corner Dweller is a version of Colin McAllister for a universe in which he much more shy, sad, and dark as a person.

"Heartbroken Innocence"
-This piece represents being sort of distraught and confused and being taken off-guard by a large negative event. In this story, used a tragic end of a rough relationship as the event.

"Rad Away"
-This piece represents being in a relationship in which you are used for sex. Where a significant other lies and tells you they love you, but in reality they just want you for sex. The main character knows that all they want is sex, but doesn't want to believe it, and hopes that by giving the other person what they want then eventually the other will start to provide the mental affections that the main character needs. Throughout the song, the main character starts to see the other person with more clarity, and by the end realizes that they're being used. The other person now is like a fallen angel in the eyes of the protagonist.

"Stimpak"
-This piece represents all the things the main character wants from the significant other. The other person says the affections are there, but to the protagonist they feel fake and not real. 

"It Gets Better (ft. Colin McAllister)"
-This piece represents acceptance. The idea that after some time, the pain goes away, and things get better. The reason Colin McAllister listed himself as a featured artist in "It Gets Better" is because he wanted the idea to be that the real version of himself to come through much more to make it feel more hopeful and uplifting.

It's full moon! We are glad to have @Treavor-Moontribe at the controls of our mission 06.

In June of 1993 a small group of friends gathered under a full moon in the Mojave Desert of Southern California. Over 23 years later these gatherings are still going strong and easily the longest running truly underground event of its kind in America, perhaps the world. They call themselves Moontribe and still to this day you will find no promotion for these events. There is no Facebook event for it, there are no flyers on the streets, no posters…no hype! Yet somehow this tribe finds each other under that full moon deep in the desert to dance to hypnotic beats and celebrate life! DJ Treavor Moontribe is one of the founders of these gatherings, one half of the electronica/chill out project @DesertDwellers and a 19 year veteran of Burning Man.
