In 1984, this 1935 musiucal was a "lost musical": its original performace materials were lost in shipment after an early 1950s presentation at the St Louis Municipal Opera. In 1985, I was hired by the Cole Porter Trust to reconstruct this lost show by creating new arrangements and orchestrations. I have no idea what the original 1935 overture was like. This is my 1985 one, performed in November 1999.
