Saturn Returns refers to the astrological period in our lives when Saturn begins to complete its orbit around the sun, returning back to the same position it was in at the time of one's birth. The orbit takes approximately 29.5 years to complete, beginning on the 27th year, and is known as a kind of cosmic rite of passage - welcoming an individual to a new stage of adulthood in which our childhood dreams have to be realised to avoid crippling depression and a mid-life crisis.

I grew up on Deep House Music. Creating this playlist made me feel both nostalgic and present. It starts off with a song that was the soundtrack of my childhood: Cafe De Flora. The songs that follow are a cross between love songs, speaking in tongues and praise and worship. It is an ode to deep house, a spiritual journey to the past, and how it constantly inspires us where we want to be. I hope they make you feel. I hope they make you groove.
