Hyperbolic Quartet is a Free Improvisation/ spontaneous composition instrumental group based in Los Angeles.  Members are Bruce Friedman, Trumpet/ Flugelhorn;  Haskel Joseph, Guitar;  Breeze Smith, Drums/ Percussion; and Darryl Tewes, Bass;  all of whom have a checkered connection with jazz, new music, improvisation, pop, noise, blues, prog and so-called serious music.
