Recorded em 2002, Tomando Mate is a tune I was presented with by one of the biggest names in the southern brazilian music Neto Fagundes. He was curious to hear what I could do to  his style of music, usually performed with concertinas and acoustic instruments. Even the electric guitar was cringed upon by the elders of that tradition. Despite protest, this tune made it number one on the radio for a month in a row.

ALF - Mistery Ride

I never met the singer and never understood what it was all about. He went to our studio and spoke to our manager saying he wanted Vimana (the band I was playing with at the time) to produce his latest track. I was called to record the bass guitar and was told later on that he liked the track just with bass and drums. Never heard of him ever again. I couldn't avoid loving the vibe anyway. Hey Darlan, I hope you found piece wherever you are!
