As we continue with a string of exciting releases entering the summer season, we can now happily announce that La Fleur is up next with a beautiful two track EP which includes a remix by Acid Mondays. With previous releases on Berlin's Watergate label, La Fleur’s music and energy was a perfect fit for us here at LNOE and we can’t wait to share it with you all.

"I'm super-excited to be joining Sasha on his label Last Night On Earth. He's always had great taste in melodies and musicality so I am really happy that the music on my debut LNOE EP caught his ear. 'Reflection' has been a secret weapon for me for a while but now I'm pleased that other people can play it too - as well as 'Orbit' - whether that's on earth or in some other part of the universe!'            

The ‘Orbit EP’ will be released on June 8th on Last Night On Earth.

The releases on Curle roughly go anywhere between deep house and solid techno, but Hiver’s deep techno sound is probably what I appreciate most myself if I had to choose. Melodic, floating and based on traditions but without sounding like something you already heard too often, that’s about how I would describe the Italian duo’s second Curle EP. Their first one got played by Sven Väth and Efdemin just to name a few. Hiver hold a residency at Milan’s Dude Club, but in the meantime have played everywhere from Dimensions festival to Panorama Bar.

Soulfooled, lovingly curated since its inception in 2010 by German producer Alex Niggemann, has established itself as a crucial platform for fresh talent, focused on sonic innovation that is unfailingly fresh and original, with its own distinctive brand of music. Daso Franke was born in Poona (India) and at the
age of five was using the dance floor of his father’s disco as a playground, growing up with the music of Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix and radio pop. Now, living in Berlin, this multi-talented music producer, live act and party machine, is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent times into the global arena of the electronic music circus. Pawas Gupta’s music and creative drive resonates with his journey from his early days as a DJ in India to becoming an independent producer based in Cologne. From his classical roots in tabla and percussion, to his deep, Detroit-influenced sounds, Pawas has carved his own distinctive niche - a space where melodies, musicianship and atmospheric sounds fuse perfectly.

To kick-off 2016 in style, Daso & Pawas are dropping their stunning debut EP on Alex Niggemann’s Soulfooled – two artists and one label to keep your eye on this year, for sure!

What if we told you that you could enjoy the sound of tomorrow today, would you be interested? Forgive for getting all Morpheus on you - that's the black guy from The Matrix for all you teeny boppers out there - but we're a little bit excited here at Data Transmission HQ and Italian producer Lehar's latest production, Number One Hero,  is to blame. 

Making his debut on Diynamic’s sister label 2DIY4, we've been unable to get his new single - or its two accompanying remixes - off our office playlist since it arrived in our bulging inbox last month and so set about securing one of the record's three incarnations for exclusive premiere. 

Unfortunately for us, we were given the opportunity to have our pick of the litter. Much head scratching then ensued and after multiple shouting matches and a narrowly won vote, the ayes had it and we decided that Cologne producer Peter Pardeike's rework was ever so slightly more our cup of tea. That's not to say we don't love Engrave LTD boss Musumeci's version, we do, and with both are set to pick up heavy play in a club near you soon, we're sure you will too. Labelfather Gorge delivers you an original that should be able to work yourself into a real frenzy while seeing dancing guys in front of you. No matter if we are talking about a club night or an Open Air atmosphere. Between us, we think Gorge's latest contribution to the Re:Fresh Your Mind-Discography is just flawless. The Jala EP (RYM015) comes alongside its groovy bassline with a remix, of course. Namely by our well-known sidekick Markus Homm, adding his artistic touch to one of our catalogue numbers for the second time.

Spanish DJ/Producer and Fayer label boss Edu Imbernon released his new single Bitter Fate on July 4th, complete with a remix from Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat.

Having already established himself as one of Spain’s most revered homegrown DJ/producers over the last five years, Bitter Fate is a testament to Edu’s slick, ever-maturing sound. Centered around a hazy, mellow vocal, the track builds across seven minutes of rolling, balearic grooves and bright, glistening melodies that feel perfectly geared towards the incoming summer season. 
  
Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine, better known as Fur Coat, then turn in their own darker, rolling rework to give the track a new dynamic for the floor. Built around a dark, pulsating bassline and haunting male vocals, their edit feels both near-hypnotic and infectious, serving as an excellent addition to Edu’s original mix.

Edu Imbernon - Bitter Fate (Fur Coat Remix) [Fayer]

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhain's best and most loved restaurants, is just around the corner. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. 

Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Gorge – Jala (Markus Homm Remix) [Snippet]

Brought the Sound of the Whales to Watergate, and because I had the opportunity to close the main room this allowed me to really push it musically. Listen out for some of my new productions. Including a new edit of 'Cafe del mar'. The crowd danced till sunday morning, and asked for a last track. With this I gave them 'Movement of whale' and my new remix to close the set.
