Christmas again, yippie yay! Another alternative Christmas arrangement, this year only using sounds recorded with a contact mic in a science lab. The lyrics are a loose translation of a Swedish winter tune for children, Nej, se det snöar!, and the instrumentation consists of lots of latex gloves, funnels and petri dishes. Merry Christmas!

Oh Look, It's Snowing!

It's true. More or less. I have strained my vocal machinery, my throat and all what's in it too much not to agonise over the the day my voice won't come back, with all that would symbolise. I am too human - and can have a very inflexible demeanour - to fully rely on the knowledge that there'll always be loving people around me. I still can't handle being put in place after making mistakes or being caught doing something wrong. I am irrational and human and I have started almost all sentences with "I" which indicates that I'm also selfish. 
Sigh
This is a slice of life that is nothing to pity. But please, examine it. Through a lens. So that you don't have to come too close physically.

My biggest fears

I have the privilege to have many intelligent friends. Knowledgable. Sometimes even wise. Often willing to express their knowledge through rich and vivid conversations. And sometimes - more often than I'd like to admit - I just can't keep up with them. Sometimes my mind feels like a blank space; not a void, not an abyss, not even a hole because there is no depth, just some shallow nerve ends struggling to process the little information they have access to. Like looking at the world through a looking glass, or through a dull kaleidoscope where the small, internal world is a reflection of itself. I get anxious by the very thought of not knowing. Of someone looking at me like "how could you not have thought of that before? How can you not understand?". Or someone being bored of not getting anything new from me. Of knowing so much more.
