Tom Lehrer (The Elements, Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, Vatican Rag, etc.) gave me this lyric to write into a song back in 1979. I wrote it then and performed it but never recorded it until now and in the modern version I wrote and added the rap. The second version of this song which you'll see as track 15 is different, slightly different song, just piano and vocal, as I imagined how Tom might have done it himself. To my knowledge he's never recorded his version of the song, but he recently gave me his original sheet music to his version (which I've never heard). As of this release, he's 93 years old, so I thought it's high time I delivered!
