Sonic Team screwed us out of a goddamn Shadow boss, sooooooo I had to make this on my own.
I picked this song instead of For True Story because this one is criminally underrated. Besides, if they remixed Stardust Speedway Bad Future US for Metal, why not?

I mean, the intention of the original is there. It’s just... very strangely executed.

So one day, I had an idea to rewrite the lyrics. Some parts were fine (and/or I couldn't think of a better option), but some parts honestly needed a complete overhaul. My main goal was to match an element of epic-ness while still having the charm of the original, and - most importantly - make them more Sonic-like.

And here we are, a month of writing and music-making later. Enjoy!!

Also, this is my first time editing on such a complex level with text. A LOT of work went into this endeavour.
