Can You Jigit founding member Tomas Station has a different eye to most. His descriptive mixing style ensures that this Colombian says exactly what he wants to say through his music. An artist that has dived straight into the consciousness of the underground as a result of his residency for New York stalwart ReSolute, his own productions, the utterly outrageous Can You Jigit events, spotlight sets for some of the best sounding dancefloors in the world, wait, we’ve ran out of fingers. 

Here he flexes his undeniable Latin American lineage with wave after wave of off kilter gems that not just rattle the speakers vibrate the soul. With no irony whatsoever Tomas Station operates on a different plane with his track selection. Gritty house dovetails to Cumbia, while whipped minimal grooves are segued smoothly into ambient tones. There is a serious telling of a story afoot in this mix, that even goes for how the mix was even recorded. 

So, the story goes, not ones to miss an opportunity for a good party, while recording this mix at Why Not Club in Zanzibar they opened the club just for this occasion. What started as a completely empty club soon grew into an impromptu rave with people enjoying a magical unplanned moment. We have a funny feeling that their set at Sophie in Malaga will be full on vibes from the very beginning...

Aldo, the new alias, conceals the collaborative efforts of two talented artists: Lowris and Adema. United by a deep friendship and a shared passion for music, this dynamic duo injects a fresh energy into the scene.

For the past decade, Lowris has captivated audiences worldwide as an international touring artist. Prior to the unfortunate closure of the renowned Concrete club in Paris, he held a residency there, gracing the decks alongside some of the most esteemed figures in the industry. In 2013, he founded his own label, Aeternum Music, and has also released tracks on esteemed imprints such as Minibar and Nervmusic.

Since making his debut in 2010, Adema has been steadily making his mark on the electronic music scene. With his Full Scale project, he showcases his unique minimalistic sound in Belgium and France, garnering increasing recognition and acclaim. Building on his accomplishments, he has been a resident at Brussels' esteemed C12 club since 2018.

Now, Lowris and Adema have joined forces to collaborate on Adema's Full Scale project. Together, they have embarked on an exciting new venture—a vinyl imprint dedicated to breathing new life into this project. Anticipation is building as their inaugural release, featuring Olivier Romero with a remix by Tripmastaz, is set to hit your favorite record stores at the end of the summer. Already supported by influential artists like Raresh and Dyed Soundorom, this release is highly anticipated by music aficionados across the scene.

Pathagonia is an Italian duo featuring Noha and Alex Tea. Friends for a long time, it really shines through in their music. Typically made-for-the-dancefloor gems, the pair has put out a bunch of brilliant cuts over the years, most notably the epic Chi Ci Pensa. Incredibly, that one came out five years ago now, but they’ve lost none of their studio gusto in the intervening years, whether they’re producing on their own or in tandem with one another. As if to prove the point, their latest offering is an album, HOW LOW CAN YOU GO, released via the mighty Yoyaku. With all this in mind, we were chuffed to have the guys on for our landmark 200th mix.
