Franssouax is a DJ based in Paris. He has been - through his residencies, mixes and gigs - consistently sharing the heaviest and sweatiest club takes; highlighting the musical scenes from all over the globe like changa tuki, bubbling, neo perreo and many more. He tries to blend unexpected musical flavours from the lower range of the club music spectrum, from the most tenacious rap edits to the darkest tools and bangers, combing the mainstream and the underground. Aguafina is damelove’s dazzling debut EP. The duo consisting of rapper @reypharaoh and producer @amosjoan call their sound “sad-boy reggaeton.” Instead of a jubilant celebration of physical passion, they offer a more reserved and distanced take on bodily intimacy. damelove belong to a generation of musicians that introduce new textures and sounds into one of one of the most successful and trend-sensitive genres of our time. 

@kelman-duran , another member of this emerging generation, contributed a remix of “Dime?” to the release. With two critically acclaimed albums of what could be called after-hour reggaeton, Duran has proven how much potential the Latin-American genre with a transatlantic reach offers for differentiated voices. damelove continue this exploration and exhibit an intuitive and sensitive understanding of style, as well as the courage to push the tension between closeness and distance within the gaps of the dembow riddim. 

Aguafina charts a relaxed search for the possibility of the coming together of bodies. It is music for a time in which it remains uncertain when and where its listeners will be allowed to dance to it.

Bapari (aka Arielle Baptiste) is a Haitian-American musician, producer and DJ. Bapari DJs the monthly show Puffy on NTS radio and has most recently done releases with Los Angeles-based labels Popcan Records and Mollyhouse Records. In addition to producing for a number of recording artists, Bapari is set to release their debut solo EP this spring. They've headlined Boiler Room LA, played Melting Point & Papi Juice in New York, among countless parties across the USA, and last year served as the tour DJ for Steve Lacy.
