It is safe to say that nowadays, brazilian Bboys are amongst the best in the planet. Dancers like Bboy Neguin (currently working with the select group of dancers for the artist Madonna) and Bboy Pelezinho (who is part of the world's best Bboys crew - Red Bull All Stars) are worldwide references of this language.
But, when it comes to the musical production focused on Breaking championships and battles, there is a gap in Brazil. The few beats produced still find great difficulties to access the consumers of this particular genre of music.
The Breaking international market has its doors open to Brazil, so the country needs to respond to this demand.
The main goal of the 'Mangaba Beats' project is to find brazilian artists with little recognition, but lots of artistic qualities and to shorten the distance between them and the media."
