Having established the label's sound over the past year or so through expansive and dynamic releases from Anna Gram, DART and label head Hammer, Remmah returns with a new 5-track EP from Irish duo Long Island Sound (@longislandsoundeire).

First Contact is a five-track EP that pulls off the trick of being both epic and intimate. From the title track to closer Wind & Rain, it showcases the duo's ability to traverse genre and era through their blend of breakbeats, acid lines, subtle sampling and ambient washes. Lead single 'Memory' provides the most dancefloor-focused cut of the selection with its driving synths providing an intense release.

The EP follows fellow Dubliner DART's label debut as another example of exciting production talent emerging from Ireland. The duo of Rob Roche & Tim Nolan first started working together in 2015 and made their breakthrough with a debut EP for Bobby Analog's Body Fusion imprint in 2019. Releases on Melbourne's Kyoku Records and their own Signs of Space label followed thereafter, along with an appearance on Maribou State's 209 Fabric Presents mix compilation.

Landing on Toolroom with a record set to tear up dance floors and playlists alike, its CHANEY with his standout, emotionally drenched Piano House record ‘Love Again’. CHANEY himself has become a firm addition to the #ToolroomFamily, and one which we are buzzing about for 2022! After having an exceptional 2021, the 24 year old Swindon born and bred producer debuted on Toolroom with ‘Good For Me’ alongside Morixo which has hit 1m streams on Spotify, followed up with his Summer sound track ‘Back To Me’ and most recently, ‘Need You (higher)’ which gained huge radio support and streaming support across dance specialist channels!

With releases on Make ‘Em Move, Stress Records and don’t forget his most recent outing, a tasty EP on Eats Everything’s Edible label that was rewarded with a Radio One hat-trick on release day with BBC R1’s Dance Specialists Danny Howard, Sarah Story and Pete Tong all supporting, indicative of exactly how far CHANEY has come in just 12 months!As for the record itself, ‘Love Again’ is a surperb cut of emotive Piano House, tugging at the heartstrings whilst simultaneously working you up enough to hit the dance floors hard!

A perfectly crafted song from start to finish, ‘Love Again’ is definitely one of CHANEY’s finest productions to date and one that carries the weight of heartbreak both effortlessly and with a sublime elegance. The futures bright for the young star, and for the sound of Toolroom 2022, ‘Love Again’ has certainly encapsulated exactly what label is about.
