The Guest Mix @ TranceMag Sessions

In the forthcoming episode of Digital Om Productions series Daniel Lesden presents his new upcoming album ‘2000 Years Ahead‘ with a special hour long set including some of the top tracks from the new album along with some other current favourites. 

Russian music producer and DJ, based in Israel, Daniel Lesden releases his second studio album titled ‘2000 Years Ahead’ on his home label Digital Om Productions.
Inspired by the many Sci-Fi films and novels, the album tells a story about human race that has reached out a peak of technological growth and a hidden menace it may lead to. With this release expect to hear some robotic voices driving with synthetic leads rolling on kinetic energy all in all an extremely intelligent & mature Psychedelic masterpiece that Daniel Lesden is unleashing after a year of studio work.

This album also includes a collaboration with the Digital Om’s rising talent AudioFire as well as a remix to earlier released track of Middle Mode & Relativ titled ‘Divination’.

‘2000 Years Ahead’ is a sci-infused blend of Progressive and Psytrance that is ready to blast the dancefloors around the world.

Airwave is an artist of the highest calibre and Pray for Happiness is cut from a different cloth. Embellished with a mysterious yet uplifting melody, an emotive atmosphere, and his quintessential eastern percussion, this release is poised to create magic moments on dance floors across the world.

Airwave - Pray For Happiness - The Digital Blonde Remix

Since the first EP (parts 1 & 2) released way back in 2003 featuring 'The main voyage' and 'Tour de Trance' followed shortly after by parts 3 & 4, it was always John's intention for this to be a 5 series EP, but never got around to finishing. It's a scratch he needed to itch and 14 years later, he's made it happen.

Never one to be pigeon holed in just one genre, you find here a wide selection of music, 'Spirit awakening' being testament to the much loved deeper side of John, whilst 'This restless planet' takes things on a euphoric Trancy journey. To hammer on the icing of the cake, we take a hard hitting ride with 'The long ranger' 134 BPM of Tech Trance with tons of emotion.

Timewave aka Finnish artist Antti Ervasti joins us at JOOF Recordings with Decadence which features a top notch remix from Simon Templar. Like many high quality Scandinavian trance artists before him, time continues to break the mould in the trance scene, delivering innovation and innovation with every release.
Timewave is no stranger to JOOF having already seen releases on JOOF Mantra and JOOF Recordings. After winning a remix competition back in 2009, Antti has never looked back. His debut album Solar System on Mistique Music back in 2010 grabbed a lot of attention and from then it was clear this guy was going to become a major player in progressive trance. His first outing for us was on remix duties for John's MMX1215 back in 2011 and this paved the way for several more quality cuts as well as appearances on our Anthology series. Our fearless label founder and all round head honcho John 00 Fleming joins forces with Italian DJ and producer Roby M Rage on the dark and mysterious 'The Devils Gates Of Heaven'. Regarded with legendary status, John Fleming continues to delight with his brand of mind blowing music. He is one of the most gifted artists of a generation and his sound has graced a multitude of labels over the years. A hard working DJ, producer and promoter, he finds himself travelling the world, gracing the decks at countless venues with open to close sets becoming a big feature on his tours. Described as a national treasure of the trance world by Radio 1's Pete Tong, John 00 Fleming is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 20 years without dishonouring his musical essence or fans. John remains a very much respected figure on the underground scene. This is down to his integrity in his performances and his no-nonsense take on all things music. His long running JOOF and related labels continue to go from strength to strength and recently he has been sourcing some superb breakthrough up and coming artists who are proving their worth in style. Roby M Rage has been passionate about electronic music since a very young age. In the late 80's he started DJing in different clubs, festivals and radio shows: Alter Ego, Cyber, La Scala, Syncopate, Villa Ada Festival, Rototom, Asylum, La Capannina, Dominus, Sottosopra, Imperiale, Mandrea Festival, Radio Luna and Officina 99 to name a few. He has won awards for his skills and worked on the infamous DJ Mag doing artist reviews for a time. His style of production is mainly influenced by labels such Warp, R&amp;S, Bpitch Control, Nervous, Ninja Tune, Soma Records, Drumcode and Second State and his tracks have been making waves since 2014 with support coming in from many quarters. A welcome addition to the JOOF roster.The Devils Gates Of Heaven is a seriously dark and twisted affair that will prove popular on the floors with its tough edged approach. We're lulled by soft swirling pads that lift the hairs on the back of your neck before being gripped by the scruff and thrown into a blizzard of pounding beats and dirty basslines. An extremely brief respite falls on the break where we find surreal melodies that are soon engulfed by the solid dark trance groove. A very special edition of Global Trance Grooves this month, as you know I’ve been looking back a lot this month due to my new single ‘Looking back. To Look forward’. Whilst I was digging through my vinyl collection visiting memory lane, I thought whilst holding these special vinyls, wouldn’t it be a good idea to make a mix of theses tracks that were special to me, so I did. I dearly miss the more specialist deeper, Progressive days of Trance and I think its an important history lesson to remember the roots of Trance music and not to forget it. 

Also ss Beatport have made JOOF recordings label of the month, and we’re approaching 20 years of JOOF, I have an excuse to get carried away showcasing many new JOOF recordings tracks in both the Deep and Turbo mixes.

Live @ Closing Set for Astrix, Moscow (8 Dec 2018)

2018 was an a fantastic year for me playing festivals such as BOOM Festival (4-Hour set), Ozora, Creamfields, EDC along with many Open to Close and extended sets, then came the epic ending to the year Beatport making me artist of the week, then JOOF recordings label of the month and recently celebrating 20 years of JOOF recordings. While the JOOF residents focused on looking back at our 20 year history via our 20 years album, this month I’d like to carry on the celebration on by looking at what recent JOOF tracks have stayed in my DJ playlists in the form of Deep and Turbo mixes. I’ve also included some new unreleased material so you can see what flavours we have coming up.
