Next up was “Heartbreak Anniversary” topping the R&B charts. If you didn’t know him by then, his feature on Biebs' “Peaches” did the trick - to the tune of more than a billion streams. Now the 27-year-old is our latest LIFT artist. Talking to us for Footnotes, he says "For Tonight" is about "having a taboo connection to something or someone." The emotional connection runs deep in this exclusive performance of the song he calls both "somber and cinematic.” Last month we linked up with the baritone singer just a few LA freeway exits north of his Long Beach hometown.
