This song was written after being diagnosed with cancer and losing my mother to Covid. It grapples with the emotional and spiritual questions that come in the wake of grief and loss. Once anchored in faith, these events served as a catalyst for deconstructing my understanding of the Divine.

Home With You was written in the aftermath of a turbulent time in my life when the concept of a spiritual "home" collapsed and felt completely foreign. Yet my understanding of the Divine was expanding and I was being drawn in to something new. Like many of my songs, it is about a metaphorical relationship representing my continued wrestling match with the creator.
