One of the hardest -- and most fun! -- piano pieces I ever played is the suite Stravinsky arranged from his ballet "Petrushka." Somehow the recording of my one and only performance got lost in the packing, unpacking, and repacking as I travelled from England to Nova Scotia and from Nova Scotia to Vancouver in the summer of 1990. But part of a rehearsal recording, made on cassette tape using a ghetto blaster's tiny condenser mic, did survive, and I've now digitized it so I can prove to the world -- well, mostly to myself! -- that I once played this wild and wonderful work!
