This set was a challenge by an old friend from my home town(  Blackburn , Lancashire, UK ) Martin Reeves to make a mix from a playlist he sent me. Hard because none of the tracks matched ! Whilst I was thinking about it, I started finding sound bites for Blackburn accents to drop into the mix, including a great short film from Gary Aspden, who comments on Casual Culture. 

Lancashire Twist is actually a mix of pipe tobacco that my dad smoked, but its also a refernce to the mix of mixes I threw into this session.

Kling Klang ! A mash up of tunes from early and predominantly UK based synth bands who built upon the inspirational foundations laid by Kraftwerk and made it poppier, lighter and funky. With some Gang of Four, Bambaata and Popcorn thrown in for good measure. Play loud on the autobahn.
