Lucien Posman - The Little Girl Found

A collection of five songs for mixed choir a cappella on poems by Emily Dickinson. This poetess is one of my favourites. Her poems, although they are written in the romantic 19th century, transcend her lifetime because off the content which is so interesting that it still enthrals many poetry lovers today and will in the future. I invite my listeners to search the poems on internet and enjoy them while listening to the music. I gave the volume the title of the first song.

Track 3. Nobody knows this little Rose(SSAATTBB) solo voice: An Janssens, alto.

Variations on the well known moroccan theme, here marvellously played by Nao Momitani and Tomoko Honda. It was written in the summer of 2001, when my wife was singing it for our first-born son. It was dedicated to two students, Thomas Aertssen and Jasper Vanpaemel, who played it for the first time.
