We played this during some kind of music festival, which took place in a sports hall.
Just in the right moment, a little swallow entered the hall, began to sing and so made itself unforgettable. That was really funny and amazing. You still can hear it if you listen carefully ;-)

Thomas Dunford continues to expand his discography on Alpha with a programme of solo lute works by J.S. Bach, recorded in the ideal surroundings of the Salle de Musique of La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. He performs an original composition by Bach for lute, the Suite in G minor BWV 995, as well as his own arrangements of the (Cello) Suite BWV 1007 and the famous Chaconne from the Partita BWV 1004 – the latter piece has a notorious reputation for being (virtually) unplayable, at least on the violin!

The touching Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi is perhaps the most famous version of the Stabat Mater, a cycle of songs about Virgin Mary. The final number he wrote when he was on his deathbed (1736). Pergolesi had in fact very dangerous TBC which was caused that he died at the age of 26. The Andrés Segovia Archive is the name given to the editorial project that collects the music written for Andrés Segovia, or thinking of him, but that he decided not to play during his glorious career.
The music included in this collection has been disclosed by Angelo Gilardino (www.angelogilardino.com) in 2001, when he had been called, invited by Segovia's widow Emilia Segovia marquise of Salobreña according to Segovia's will, to open the crates of his music sheets.
All the pieces included in the Andrés Segovia Archive are published by Bèrben Edizioni Musicali (www.berben.it), with the exception of "Capriccio diabolico" and "Tarantella" by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, published by Ricordi (www.ricordi.it) and the triptych "Preludio, Elegie und Rondo" by Ignace Strasfogel, that is published by Gitarre un laute.
