Mobilee bosswoman readies her first EP of 2015, with the superb ‘Circle Culture’ EP. The three-track release includes a heady, hiplashing techno injection by Konstantin Sibold & Leif Müller, who impressed with last year’s ‘Kolibri’ on Cocoon.

To many observers Anja Schneider enjoyed arguably the finest year of her already impressive career in 2014; two stunning EPs, a hectic summer touring schedule that saw her more in demand than ever and that debut Essential Mix that still gets talked about in hushed tones.

This year hasn’t seen any sign of her slowing down however; the perpetual motion machine keeps creating, inspiring and pushing forward with all the passion of an artist very much at the peak of her career.

‘Circle Culture’ is a further expression of this and very much indicative of Anja’s creative purple patch, feeling as free as ever to pursue what’s in her head and heart whenever she goes into the studio.

Warm, dreamy and hypnotic, ‘Circle Culture’ has been an exquisite highlight of Anja’s set since being debuted last month, with its spine-tingling break sending collective shivers down the backs of dancefloor occupants – especially those with a penchant for late ‘90s techno vibes.

‘The Squaring’ has tension and release on lock, grabbing you with an exotic lick of melody that builds towards a crescendo as kicks and high hats are gradually added to the heady sonic brew. A tension-filled break gives way to a pounding techno pay-off making it a perfectly punchy compliment to the EP’s A-Side.
The release is capped off by a strong re-work of ‘Circle Culture’ from Konstantin Sibold & Leif Müller that injects a peak-time dose of techno into the original.

One of the most prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Israel in recent years, Yotam is an accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile DJ. 
His music career began early on, by 19 years old he compiled and produced expermential music for Modern Ballet, while working as a Music Journalist and  holding a DJ Residency at Tel-Aviv's leading club nights. He's back catalogue releases nowdays offers a wide musical range from Abstract Electronica to Soulful House all the way to Detroit Techno, releasing on labels like Ovum, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Be As One ! 
'Pentimento' is a strong tribal track, with a bassline and a synth lead that sounds huge everytime we play it. The track gets a brand new reinterpretation from one of our heroes, Joaquin Joe Claussell, who adds some cosmic and ethereal sounds to the african atmosphere of the original, turning out another epic journey !

Far Out Radio Systems, Fader From Borneo, Mark Du Mosch and Polynation are all presenting their version on an exclusive ‘white label’. Containing a special silkscreen printed remix of the original artwork, every edition of this one is truly unique and a collector’s item to behold.

Egypt’s Raxon makes his Truesoul debut with a searing four-tracker.

The talented DJ/producer has been a marked man on Adam Beyer’s musical radar ever since his stunning remix of Noir & Olivier Giacamotto’s ‘Reste’ landed during the summer of 2016. His productions have elsewhere found a home on Diynamic, Noir, Tronic and more recently Ellum, reinforcing his ability to craft powerful techno that still retains an emotive edge. 

His maiden outing for Truesoul is masterful. ‘Fobidden Quest’ is seven minute of low-end muscular bass that’s heavy on peak-time rush. ‘Orix’ is continues in this vein and is a groove-ridden bass-heavy gem. ‘Flight Call’ demonstrates his musical breadth, providing an interlude from the dancefloor with an immersive ambient work. The EP is rounded out with ‘Heliopolis’, the EP’s title track named after Raxon’s hometown. It’s a stirring composition driven by uplifting pads, tension-building bassline melodies and a laser-kissed build up. 

Support for this EP already comes in strong, including Maceo Plex, Solomun, Nicole Moudaber, Carl Cox, B.Traits, Tale of Us, John Digweed, Adriatique and of course Adam Beyer.

Yotam Avni - Midas Touch

German producer HOSH kicks off his new label fryhide with a free to download continuous mix that is made up of all his own tracks. Called Stories From Sa Talaia, the album is out on May 25th, but tracks from it will also be released as four individual EPs on the label. Now comes the first one featuring four fine efforts that showcase his broad house style and find the Ibiza based, Diynamic associated producer in the form of his life.

Up first is 'Standing Still Is Moving Backwards' a track that serves two purposes as it is a perfect peaktime techno opener or the sort of track to bring a break in between big moments to let people breeze before you fire up the next gem. It's fresh in every way and shoes the producer coming at techno from an exciting new angle. Next is 'Fire and Ice', a dark, analog, melodic track with crisp in-your-face hi hats but also deep melodic vibes. The title describes this fine fusion of sounds perfectly as it goes deep and moody with warped synths and menacing bass. 

On the flipside, 'The Watergate Affair' features vocals from Lou from the GHEIST agency after the pair met at Watergate and HOSH instructed him to "go further with this. Experiment with your voice. Go somewhere where you haven´t been yet, don't be scared just do it." And he nailed it with a beauty hard to describe in words as HOSH lets the vocal shine with a simple straight forward reduced techno beat. The outcome is a surefire festival anthem in the making this summer. 

Last but not least is 'Natalia's Lullaby', the closing track from the album that was written for HOSH pregnant wife. The resulting track is beautiful and filled with emotion that will make any set that bit more special.
