The Ist 'Seisiún Trail' segment for Belfast 89 FM broadcast March 1st 2017 during Mike Gaston's Wednesday 'Morning Talk In' programme, bringing listeners all things Irish traditional and folk in Belfast and it's environs, a run down of the local seisiúns and events coming up and in my first contribution I was joined in studio by Scottish multi instrumentalist, singer & composer Mark Carmichael who chatted with us about his revamped band Camhanach who play the Sunflower Folk Club March 23rd and we were treated not only to a track from Camhanach's album The Lover's Tree but Mark sang live in studio the traditional song 'The Water is Wide'. The best start to my monthly segment 'Seisiún Trail' for Belfast 89 FM in my home city of Belfast and with a number of years broadcasting, yet a first live broadcast in studio. 'Seisiún Trail' welcomed Ruadhraí O'Kane, Belfast based fiddle player to studio at Belfast 89 FM during the 'Wednesday Morning Talk In' for a live chat and a tune to promote the Traditional Music fundraising concert he has organised at Duncairn Cultural Arts Centre Belfast for Adam's Camp, this Saturday April 8th, the organisation hosts a summer camp for children on the autistic spectrum. Ruadhrai chatted with us about Adam's Camp, the fundraising concert, how to support through tickets or donation and of course he treated us to a few jigs and reels to give listeners a taste of what's in store on the night. Seisiún Trail welcomed Ériu band member Jaff ( Aodhán Jeffries)to studio at Belfast 89 FM this morning to promote the band's launch of their EP 'Réalta Reatha' at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich tomorrow Thursday September 7th in the centre's Gallery. Jaff chatted with us about the band, their music & detailed the launch which is free admission, & we were treated to the masterful artistry of Jaff on Uilleann Pipes, a set he made himself, a pipe maker and musician, my Seisiún Trail segment midst the 'Wednesday morning Talk' In with Neil Dickson, many thanks to Neil and especially to Carrie Neal for her brilliant help on camera, capturing our studio seisiún.

Seisiún Trail for Belfast 89 fm welcomed  the stunning singer & guitarist Alan Burke to studio on Wednesday November 1st to chat with us about his music & coming to The American Bar Dock Street Belfast on Friday November 17th as part of Nigel Martyn's Troubadour Series. In conversation and on song, this was a gorgous gathering & Alan's rendition of the traditional song 'Belfast Mountains' made for an extra special occasion live in studio here in the heart of Belfast. Belfast native, Irish traditional & folk singer, Irish traditional step dancer , Belfast School of Music pupil, Ulster Youth Theatre member & graduate of the Welsh College of Music and Drama, Josephine produced & presented CELTIC BRIDGE radio programme on Q101.2 FM  Q106 FM & Q100.5 FM three of the radio stations on Q Radio Network for almost seven years since 2009. The traditional and folk music programme came to a close on August 9th 2015. Josephine also contributes to Irish Music Magazine.
