As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. That's certainly the case with the latest release on SUTIL RECORDS which also happens to be their first of 2013. Furthermore, it marks the first appearance of DAVID CADENAS on the label as he presents the four-track 'SOUND LESSON' EP.

Based in Zamora, DAVID CADENAS has a growing reputation as one of the most promising new names on the Spanish House scene. Alongside playing at many of the best clubs, he now has a string of well supported releases on labels like OLE MUSIC and INSERT COIN. Now it's the turn of Barcelona's SUTIL RECORDS, and the 'SOUND LESSON' EP is a superb quartet of House tracks covering a range of styles and moods.

'ALMA' is a deliciously funky number. Skippy beats and a rolling bassline provide the perfect platform for this energetic, vocal-driven track which is sure to pack a mean punch on the dancefloor. Expect hands in the air as it really gets into its stride. 'DEEP GROOVING', meanwhile, is a more stripped back affair, as the name suggests. With its powerful groove and layers of effects, this is perfect late night material.

'MOONLIGHT' is another fine example of the percussive Tech-House sound associated with DAVID CADENAS. With its blistering rhythm and hypnotic bassline, the pressure builds and builds turning it into a seriously dangerous track. Completing the picture is 'THIS IS THE SOUND OF NOW' on more of a jackin', underground vibe. Deep and dirty, and just a little spooky, it showcases another dimension to his music.

The 'SOUND LESSON' EP is the sound of an artist on top form with his own interpretation of the house blueprint. It's sure to win support from DJs across the international dance scene, and confirm SUTIL RECORDS as having a keen eye for new talent. The SUTIL name is always one you can trust.
