I wanted to make a remix of two  incredible songs that helped me through hard times at high school. The flow that biggie delievered always kept me up when I was buried in boring assignments. "I Tried" is a song with a lot of emotion and a lot of good tones, and together with Can I Get Witcha I hope you get a feeling of spring mixed with melodic disco and funk.

Nelly - Ride Wit Me (Viceroy  "Jet Life"  Remix)

The inspiration for this remix is taken from Max'C emotional vocals in the song - I Found U by Axwell! Axwell is one of my biggiest inspiration in house music, so I wanted to do something special. Summer is approaching fast and therefore it was desirable to take up the tempo to 128 bpm. make it a little sexier with the help of the catchy vocals, and create a good atmosphere! Feel the Vibe!;)

Nude Disco Records proudly present ’Catch’ by London based Nu Disco outfit Kill Me Softly. The single features the vocals of Australian singer/songwriter Jane Elizabeth Hanley of Kids At Midnight fame. Her first release was picked up by Alan Braxe’s Vulture Records and she has subsequently worked with artists such as Edwin Van Cleef, Ride The Universe & Quinten 909.

In her own words Jane describes the song as "a sweet little 80's classic pop influenced nu disco jam made for falling in love on the dance floor. I had so much fun writing to it and I felt so quickly attached to it I improvised the rough lyrics so quickly, as if I'd written them years ago. (To be honest I actually wrote it from the perspective of Molly Ringwald's character in Pretty In Pink, I pretended that she chose her best friend Ducky in the end and not Blaine! Which I think we can all agree should have been the real ending!)”

As well as the original & club mixes from the Kill Me Softly boys the remixes come from Swedish rising star Tobtok, British Chillwave maestro Ben Macklin plus a moody loungey house version from Jane’s Kids At Midnight.

Nude Disco Records is the label offshoot from the monthly Nu Disco Club night which is hosted at the Electric Social in Brixton, London.

About the making of the track:
Matoma and his producer friend Nelsaan is ”free falling", bringing the feel of Norwegian summer to this classic track. The producers duos first remix release together was created in the late hours after a gig and is best enjoyed as it was created; with a Captain Morgan under the rising sun.

Featuring several world exclusive premieres during his EDC Las Vegas set last weekend, Hardwell unveiled not just the first single (Arcadia) from his forthcoming, as yet untitled, studio album, but also his mesmerizing remix of Coldplay’s beautiful collaboration with Avicii ‘A Sky Full of Stars’.
 
Adding subtle touches, the Dutch megastar producer has succeeded in retaining the euphoria of the original, whilst giving the record a fresh progressive deepness, that sees it journey down a new, more club driven tone. Frontman Chris Martin’s voice is as dreamlike as ever, swelling alongside the song’s catchy pop-like melody, but the sprinkling of Hardwell’s signature sound gives the record another gear, transforming it into an anthemic masterpiece perfectly suited to the mainstage.
 
Personally invited by the label (FFRR/Parlophone) to remix the second single from their new album ‘Ghost Stories’, Hardwell said “I’ve long been a fan of the band so when I discovered they wanted me to remix one of the tracks from their new album, it was really a ‘wow’ moment for me. It’s such an honor and I’m really proud of the outcome of the track. When I dropped it at EDC Las Vegas, the crowd’s reaction was electrifying; it still gives me Goosebumps thinking about it!”
