Growing up in the deep south of Germany with multi ethnic friends and big interest in many different music genres of the world, Borrowed Identity built his wide knowledge in music. This variety in his musical taste is also the reason why he is working under different aliases producing a big variety of sound from ambient to house to experimental music and everything inbetween. Borrowed Identity debut EP on Quintessentials is another great example for his multistyle approach to music. You’ll find elements of house, disco, techno, ambient and more – always with an imminent love for music. Borrowed Identity released his first 12” inc. a Mark E remix on Foul&Sunk last year. That was just the start of an impressive career we dare to say. Borrowed Identity is a music freak and works very fast on tracks. Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts, Traveller Records (Finland), the Legendary Sound Research, Stripped & Chewed (Chicago), Catz N Dogz Pets Recordings and soon Mistress all released some splendid Borrowed Identity tunes. And we do the same!

This is it, the first release from our man from the dirty south! Anaxander’s talent is obvious, he has been producing different types of music and has been releasing on labels like Local Talk or Dame Music. His music if raw yet smooth and has a lot of soul and reminds us of some good old Detroit Techno and House. No exception is his “more about these so called love songs” EP for Quintessentials! Not to forget the great remix from man of the moment Borrowed Identity, another QE buddy (on and off the pitch!).

Yes, here it is, the first full solo EP from our amigo 4004! Together with his mate Sebastien Vorhaus, he is one of Mexico’s top producers and has a quality output on labels like Freerange, Faces, Vicario Music and last but not least Quintessentials. Living in Berlin this summer, 4004 will get lots of inspiration and will have a busy musical journey. And hopefully some sleep! For now, his new “Body Night Lies” is another dope release for your house collection - damn deep and moody!

First Floor is a japanese music lover and producer who got noticed by his release on swedish elite label Local Talk in 2018. For his second vinyl release, he digging deep again and shows some well crafted House tunes with some dope beats and great melodies. Topping things off there are 2 remixes: fellow japanese wizard Kez YM (Faces Recods, City Fly, 4Lux) adds some club flavour while new hot shot Simon Hinter (Freerange) stays deep and funky. Some hot tunes for a hot summer!

Compilations are part of the concept at Quintessentials. We love putting together bits and pieces from all over the world and give new and established artists a plattform. „Enjoy our cuppa“ Vol. 2 is a delicious blend for sure - two new artists, two Quintessentials buddies, four great tracks! Starting off with our man from Helsinki, Saine, and his „love music“ - the title says it all! A track that can be played anywhere anytime. Moving on to another good old friend, Andy Ash. Andy has been around for many years, releasing on labels like Delusions of Grandeur and Stilove4music. „Bread“ has a rough yet smooth bleepy edge and a nice old school flair. The flipside presents two new faces, Jank and Decent Rides. Japanese artist Jank is like one of these hidden gems! He alredy released on City Fly, Boogie Cafe and Mysterious Works and we are delighted to present that suuuuuuper deeeeep track „All be free“! Lost but by no means least are Decent Rides, 2 young lads from Bavaria mixing up different styles in „Low grav“ perfectly. We’re sure you will enjoy your cuppa!

Alexandre Rezende, apaixonado desde pequeno pela música eletrônica, tem apenas  19 anos , é natural de Minas Gerais e reside a 12 anos em Florianópolis,  onde obteve mais recursos para se  investir em sua carreira musical.
 É formado como DJ pelo AIMEC ( Academia Internacional de Música Eletronica) de Florianópolis. Trabalha na área procurando modernizar os grooves, combinando criatividade, talento e um técnico conhecimento na área, que agitam qualquer pista de dança.  Ele tem por objetivo tornar cada show único, interagindo e animando todo público independentemente de cultura ou idade. 
Rezende é inspirado em seus próprios esforços e na alegria que pode causar aos seus ouvintes. Seu gosto musical tem foco para o Deep house, G-house e House , cativando a todos, sem esquecer de uma boa batida.
