Paryìa label head Marie Montexier comes up with the third instalment on her imprint.

After kicking off the label with records by a.b.u.3.0.3. and Small Crab, Marie is having the Vancouver based acidic specialist Overland, who delivers three cutting-edge dance floor tracks that showcase her rich and versatile fusion of classic acid techno patterns and distinctive bass music rhythms.

Rounding off the record, Marie Montexier adds a remix from the Chicago based up-and-comers Purelink. In contrast to Overland’s dark, fast, and bassy sound, Purelink re-arranged a trippy downtempo version of ‘Paloma’, resolving in the delicate, yet deliberate, chillout ecstasy, they are best known for.

We feature new music from Simplexia Records as UrbnMowgli steps up with a six track EP accompanied by three originals and three reworks. We premiere Cyberflex’s remix as the enigmatic Berlin producer serves up an squelching electro rework that sounds like the soundtrack to dystopian nightmare.

German electronic producer UrbnMowgli features on Simplexia Records for a striking debut on the label. The young producer has been carving out a name for himself as he seamlessly crafts music that defies genre expectations and has a talent for creating epic anthems while staying faithful to his infatuation with working his broken rhythms.

The six track EP see’s UrbnMowgli join label and party Simplexia for the first time. The crew have been hosting underground parties since 2017 and releasing music since 2020. With releases from Vince Void, Francesco T, Naux and more, the label has been honing in on a euphoric and kaleidoscopic sound that challenges genre limitations.

We premiere Berlin-based Cyberflex‘s remix as the mysterious producer brings listeners into the depths of hell, creating a whirlpool of murky atmospheres through screeching acid tones, redux drenched vocals and cavernous basslines. Cyberlex weaves in and out of broken & straight-forward four four rhythms with ease, creating tension and release at the drop of an 808. This is a triumphant display of apocalyptic electro carnage.

A guitarist at heart, and heavily influenced by the various scenes across the Channel, Iannis Rezgui began producing and DJing in 2015. At the same time, he co-founded Material Paris, with whom he made his debut. For 5 years, he organised a number of warehouse and club events with the collective, notably at Le Batofar and Le Sacré, and shared the bill with various players on the techno scene, including Pas-Sage, Electronic Feeling and La Quarantaine. 
Strongly inspired by artists such as Blawan and Hector Oaks, the producer is already showing a particular interest in high bpm and organic textures. 
But it was in 2020 that the artist decided to launch his solo project, keen to explore and develop his vision of techno without limits. This was followed by 2 years of intensive production, enabling Iannis Rezgui to assert an advanced aesthetic, combining the foundations of deep, mental techno with rhythms approaching trance. His tracks eventually came to the attention of François X and Elise Massoni, who played them regularly at the Berghain and on Rinse and Boiler Room. 
The year 2023 marked the real start of the artist's career, with an appearance on Maison Close's 5th various and a highly acclaimed appearance at Le Virage, alongside Laze, Caiva and JKS. Iannis Rezgui signed his first solo EP to Marseille-based label Matière Production, whose tracks have already been played by the likes of Anetha, Mama Snake and Nina Kraviz.

Nobody expected Flore to come back 10 years after her first album with a second LP as mature, rich and polymorphic as RITUALS.

Following the footsteps of its first audio-visual live show and the 3 previous (highly noted) eps released on her own imprint POLAAR between 2015 and 2019, RITUALS is a deep, immersive album with a powerful imaginary, which could easily dress up any post-dystopian movie.

With a massive wave of supports from high profiles DJs such as Clouds, Noisia, Lena Willikens, Deena Abdelwahed, and the support of top magazines such as Mixmag (UK, FR, JP), Tsugi, The Vinyl Factory or Trax, it will be pressed into vinyl, after a pretty successful KissKissBankBank campain that reached 256% in a month.

With such enthousiasm, it seemed obvious that the remixes should be entrusted to artists at the forefront of electronic music scene.

First, bristolian producer Hodge, known for his versatility in writing club bangers, adds his propulsive, frenetic 4x4 groove, highlighting the track’s sense of stress and cold violence.

British producer Walton, adds his Warpian, chiseled analog grime patina to the track, lending it a slightly spooky and futuristic vibe.

Egyptian newcomer 3Phaz preserves Coded Language’s foundation, adding an organic & frenetic touch that pushes the track in other horizon.
