"Caught by the Tail"  is an album of exploratory experiments; each track is done live and in real time. Dynamic gestures, morphing textures, heavy bass, and intriguing rhythms lead the listener through the artist's emotions and reactions while working with an often unpredictable instrument. Influenced by dubstep, glitch, IDM, and experimental electronic music, this artfully structured album thrusts the listener into aggressively complex sonic spaces that thrill, both viscerally and intellectually.
All sounds and samples used throughout this album were designed and processed solely within the Eurorack synthesizer system.

This album is an exploration of grainular synthesis, automation, space, and rhythm or the lack there of. I also really wanted to take advantage of dynamics in the energy of each piece. With little to no "musical" content, I was interested to see how I could still play with push and pull, tension and release. I hope you enjoy listening to it.
