It's about Overcoming fear and sadness and seeing the sun again. About things that go fast but slow and about not being able to decide between crying and laughing.

My friend disappeared for a few years without me knowing where she was, I was struggling, I felt alone, I blamed myself for not being able to be there for her. I cried and wrote this song when I saw her again! This is for you, sister!

I wrote Black Roses after the The Rose Concert in Hongdae, South Korea. This was one of my first concert experiences in Korea and will always have a special place in my heart. I was so touched by all the love Black Roses sent out singing Sorry. I started crying and wrote some of the lyrics already in the venue, during the concert. I was so touched so I wanted to send back a present on Woosungs Birthday to say thank you and how much I appreciate their music.
