This song corresponds to the bilingual world we live in (and the madness into which the world is slipping more and more):

J'ai traversé les rues sous la lumière - artificial light that leads nowhere. 
Dans cette ville où tout le monde marche - after these lies so large.
Tout le monde - walks alone - Tout le monde - lives in silicone.
You and I we make noise this night, without voice, truth being noise.
Les ombres dansent sur les murs - show us what once was sure.
Chaque pas – could bring truth ahead -  quand ce sera jamais - truth is never said. 
Tout le monde - is alone. Tout le monde - lives in silicone.
Toi et moi on bruit dans cette nuit – but only we. 
Perdu dans la foule, mais trouvant du réconfort - dans notre monde à part, s'échapper d'un trésor

Looking at old photographs, well I had to laugh out loud
Looking at the hair and the clothes
What were we thinking of

Oh and how the world was changing
And we were being left behind
Like being carried along inside a whale
To another place in time

We all left school for the dole apparently no one wanted coal
And on the Tyne they were no longer building ships
They had all sailed East where it was cheap

But looking at these photographs doesn't reflect none of that
These faces that I see and that I'm looking at
They're all smiles and attitude and laughs
We've all moved on and sadly some of us are long gone......

of which I've yet to ascertain.

Concept created in late 2022

When I heard Rekha years ago, I couldn't stop thinking about how I could adapt a song to her voice.

Thanks to Delaflor, who had already collaborated with her, she was able to contact me and offer me a song. After several weeks of work, Manu added an excellent guitar riff that partially camouflaged my horrible synth guitar.
