Ready for some vibrant Italian tech house? Of course you are. After gracing labels like Mauro Picotto&#8217;s Alchemy, Spektre&#8217;s Respekt and Supernova&#8217;s Lapsus, the man otherwise known as Vincenzo Palumbo lands with a bang on Munich&#8217;s finest.

Life Is A Wheel is a big room banger with some truly enormous builds, all focused around an ascending 3-note bassline and some extremely energetic rhythms. Incessant cymbal rides and tumbling drum fills add extra power to this funk-fuelled groove which steamrolls all in its path. Hefty stuff with some explosive moments.

Baritone kicks off with some supremely funky percussion hitting that sweet spot between tribal and techno, slowly building into a hypnotic frenzy of cymbals, wooden rhythms and nagging synth lines. Cue more scintillating builds and a very cheeky track that will slowly creep under your skin and force you to dance uncontrollably.

The A- side ‘I Know Where I’ve Been’, is a deep rolling techno machine that uses a constant building percussion loop that eventually explodes into some serious funky signature Moudaber techno! ‘Bittersweet’ is a techno belter that uses a hypnotic synth rhythm that will take the listener into another world. Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist.

In the year 1991 when the techno development was becoming a monster wave there was one record on R&S Records which became a game changer in my life.

I´m writing about "Energy flash" by a young producer from Brooklyn called Joey Beltram! I still get goose bumps when I even think about the night when I heard the track for the first time ever at Mayday in Berlin Weissensee.

Everybody was there, from Sven Väth to Frank de Wulf, from Speedy J to The Hypnotist (god bless you, Caspar). So you can imagine how happy I am now that Joey remixed "The overture" and yesss, again he made a monster tune. Thanx to Christian Smith for realizing this project...

The EP will be available on both digital and vinyl release on the 29th September. Whilst this label is fresh, they stand to showcase a string of superbly creative and unique releases in the months to follow.

After the positive reactions on "Diablo", Oliver and I naturally decided to dive into a follow-up (with a rather appropriate title)! Not sure why we chose Spanish names but we seemed to be onto a good thing so we decided to keep nurturing those creative instincts. We had quite a few ideas going back and forth with this one, hence the two-part approach to the final version. Conceptually and with the working title, we wanted to take a lighter approach to this one, creating something less sinister than "Diablo" and I think that we succeeded nicely, helping to eventually take things into our "Elements" series. I should also mention how excited we were to have a brilliant Gaiser mix for this! - Dubfire
