US&THEM, Porto, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Attitude: these are the keywords that identify them.

They are just another band from Portugal’s north trying to enter their national music scene, and even the international. The difference between them and many others bands, is that they want to make it through their own merit, by the sweat they leave on stage, and by the simple passion of playing music they really enjoy.
They aspire to play at sold out stadiums and festivals, but for now they try to compress all the energy and attitude on smaller stages, even literally opening them halfway as a consequence.
As to their product, they write what they like and how they want to. They don’t confine to rules, interests, or to the current market. They are also a varied mix of influences that merge into a single style. Hard-Rock’n’Roll.
 
They are five and form a personal and artistic union. They perform live in any condition and anywhere. They have their ideas and principles, they are simpletons, and appreciate the factors that contribute to their chemistry and welfare on stage, uninhibited them and making them discharge everything they feel as Rock. After all, this is Rock’n’Roll…

The formation has changed a few times already. Three of the four founding members, Ricardo, Vasco and Marcelo, remain. Frank entered to the second guitar line in late 2010, Maurício left the project in early 2011 and Pedro went a past few months as the new singer.
They released their first EP “Highway 19”, were finalists in various music contests, including the “Dolce Vita Band Casting”, and attended academic and summer festivals, like “Festa do Avante! 2010”, all this in 2010.
