"This song is about a demon who keeps a book, bound in black leather, filled with the names of souls lost to suicide. It's not a book of victories — it's a book of grief. Every name, every whisper inside it, is a memory of someone who couldn’t find a way back to the light. When you hear 'suicides' repeat, it's meant to feel endless, like the way sorrow echoes when no one talks about it. 'The Demon Kept a Book' is about carrying that weight, mourning it, and refusing to let it be forgotten."
