Un’esperienza musicale dove l’esplorazione della voce umana ci consente di attraversare i luoghi più bui e remoti della nostra memoria. Composto in esclusiva per il Kernel Festival 2021, la voce femminile ci guida in un viaggio ultraterreno imprevedibile ricco di sfumature armoniche e tecniche vocali estese, creando un invisibile tessuto sonoro che abita questo incantevole angolo di Monza. Un teatro virtuale che vibra all’interno di uno spazio fisico.

An excerpt of three immersive sound installations which I composed for the first Metri d’Arte collection, "Dream inside me", which took place in February 2012 at Première Vision in Paris, the world’s largest fair in the textile sector.
A proper art exhibition was staged in a gallery in the centre of the French capital: three women-sculptures, about 7-foot tall, lit by a giant moon, wore the artist’s fabrics and lured the public to dream with Miroglio Textile and slip under their skirts, where the (sound) world of each of three artists - Stefano Arienti, Massimo Caccia, Maggie Cardelús – was presented.

Joy Tales - sound effects demo

Un racconto sonoro che combina narrazione e musica dal vivo per analizzare l'impatto dell'ecomafia sull'ambiente. Sul palco, due attori e un contrabbasso trasporteranno il pubblico in un’atmosfera avvolgente attraverso racconti e storie di impatto. Un sound designer in live riprodurrà effetti sonori coinvolgenti e realistici. L'obiettivo è di creare un'esperienza immersiva che oltre a intrattenere, educhi e sensibilizzi l’ascoltatore, trasmettendo un messaggio importante in un formato artistico unico e accattivante.

UI Sounds Demo

This is the stereo downmix of my piece called "Signal Flow", published on "Recombinant Art 01", a surround sound disc created exclusively by artists using the Kyma audio workstation. This DVDA disc contains a varied selection of compositions from artists around the world. Each piece of music was mixed in a surround sound format, and is presented as a high quality uncompressed DVDA 5.1 mix. Kyma is the sound design workstation from Symbolic Sound Corporation, used on every composition on RA01. Kyma is software that uses the dedicated DSP processing to create a true realtime music construction environment. Realtime processing allows the user to react quickly and intuitively in the sound creation processs. This interactive link to a "thinking machine" was the inspiration for the recombinant in Recombinant Art 01.

Original soundscape composed for ‘INTRO’ by Fabio Novembre, a dome-shaped futuristic installation which recalls the first room that we encounter in our lives - the womb. The voice of Filippo Timi reverberates in the hollow of the great head, like scattered drops of consciousness that surface while we drowse. '‘STANZE. altre filosofie dell’abitare’ it’s walk through a series of rooms, each designed by a different contemporary architect (from april 2nd to september 12th, 2016).

INTRO - Sound Installation (ITA)

Original soundscape composed for ‘INTRO’, a dome-shaped futuristic installation at Design Miami 2016, which recalls the first room that we encounter in our lives - the womb. The voice of Willem Dafoe reverberates in the hollow of the great head, like scattered drops of consciousness that surface while we drowse. This project was created by Fabio Novembre as part of the “STANZE: novel living concepts”, an experience dedicated to the “state of interior architecture” at the XXI triennial international exhibition in Milan.
