while living near a stop light on a busy street at the edge of Baltimore City, my windows are open and it's Summer time. the sounds from souped up systems bounce around the hot concrete and brick, landing in my red room. those sounds influenced this track.

the name really does describe the song.  brian miller from Uakari donated his guitar work on this one.  lots of bass layers, effects and even a little drum machine.  can you hear the Joy Division influence?  play this one then play it again.

an uneventful ambient track, meant to be background or sleepytime music.  

empty glass

circa 2000. this is the last ussa pleasuredome ditty recorded on the old Tascam 4 track cassette machine.  i certainly don't miss the forced linear mixdown process but there is a quality of zen rawness to it all.  this track is a stream of consciousness consisting of many unrelated and disconnected genres.  a classic analog ussa pleasuredome chestnut.

this somber dread march was composed a day before or after empty glass.same BPM, same borrowed keyboard and trusty drum machine.influenced by old Dead Can Dance records.the perfect soundtrack for a dreary cold wet winter morning.

it is not really a remix, it is more like recreating a song in my head after I have heard it.  not in a nihilistic way but more based on the sounds my brain connects with.  Check out Moss of Aura's vast library of great tunes.  Most of them are available on Friends Records.  The original track titled "Charter"  is on Moss of Aura's release Still Parade.  This USSA Pleasuredome creation was inspired by a live Moss of Aura performance.  I created the loops in cakewalk and recorded the vocal and extra bass tracks live.

Dreampool Ecstasy: we loved an old track so much that we continued the theme onto this one.  Breathing new life into old ideas.  The ending to this track came together really well.
