i started this song a few months ago, back when the new chapters came out, but i decided to take a break from it. but... halloween, though, inspired me to pick it back up, anyway

I decided to go for something experimental this time, mixing Traditional Jazz (New Orleans) + Big Band, and i also added some “cartoon spooky” instruments like eletric organ, bells, celesta, a sine wave (simulating a theremin) and a honky-tonk piano. i’m really proud of the results, hope you all enjoy it! ^^

As I strive through the ruins of colossal debris, something stands on the horizon of my eyes. A presence as still as the air, seemingly a shape of suspension in the ancient fragment that plagues the towering sky. Suddenly, the figure sternly tilts its head, looking over at my posse. Rapidly, I scurry behind one of the nearby pillars, as if my movements did not confirm my presence.

Moving through the shadows of the ruins, I analyze any possible exit outside of where the vigil stands that does not threaten my steadiness. However, I find myself refuted, and I overturn on my path, now creeping in the pad of darkness. Foolishly, the light opens and the shadows narrow, and sure enough, my presence has been completely exposed.

The figure reacts swiftly, approaching fast as it quickens its feet. I take guard, raising my naïve spear, stepping back. The figure in front of me inspects me, and I feel judged, as if my sentence were now being decided by the weapon of the anthropoid. The form wears the skull of an outlandish fossil, or perhaps the shell of a robust animal. However, as I hardly stand my ground, I notice the metallic nature, something I could not have expected from the most brilliant of blacksmiths, covering the skin, a skin as pale as its expression...

And its judgment concludes. It declares my sentence with the raise of its weapon, for it is that I have erred.
