Not much to say for this one. It was fun experimenting with the composition.

001 - Once Upon A Time

Inspired mostly by Earthbound's Main Menu theme.

002 - Start Menu

After getting used to make so much of intense battle music, it becomes REALLY hard to make "happy" sounding music. Agan, not a lot to say for this one, enjoy!

003 - Your Best Friend

For this one, while I wanted to keep some of the nostalgic feeling of the original, I went for something more melancholic for the second half. One of my favourite themes to make!

004 - Fallen Down

I'm not sure if this one's as effective as the original, but I had a lot of fun composing it, gave me a chance to try out new stuff.

005 - Ruins

Yeah... this took way longer that it should've.

008 - Unnecessary Tension

The beta version of this track was something much more EDM-like, but I thought it wouldn't fith either Napstablook or the fight overall, so I decided for something more Jazz-like.

010 - Ghost Fight

This track was mostly inspired by 'My Castle Town' and 'WELCOME TO THE CITY', both from Deltarune Chapter 2. I went for a more upbeat, energic feel, like something that would play on your mind during Christmas morning. Hope you like it!

022 - Snowdin Town

* The screens keep displaying eyes.
* The brightness is blarring.

DOCTOR'S ORDERS

Although this is mostly remixes of other areas and boss themes, similar to what Toby did, I wanted to take a sort of, different "spin" on the way I did it, so you'll notice things like using Undertale: Alternate instead of Enemy Approaching, mixing Another Medium with CORE, making a rock remix of Waterfall, etc. Crusadin also thought of using STMPWYFS as a background instrumental for Papyrus' section.

All in all, I wanted this track to feel like the culmination of a journey, or a remembrance of your entire adventure. Also, the piano chords at the beginning are meant to replace the "thud" sound effect that plays on the actual credits before this track plays. Having said all of that, enjoy.

In order to celebrate Undertale's 8th Anniversary, I'm introducing the 'UNDERTALE: Alternate' project; A musical project that consists on completely rewriting each and every song on the Undertale OST, as a love letter to the game that inspired me to become a musician.
