Finally, here it is! This track was pretty fun to work on. Considering how good the original track is, I wanted to make something that stood out, and considering the "tech"-ish nature of the CORE, I decided to try using .mod and Keygen music as a reference. I also had some inspiration from Pizza Tower for the composition.

Battle Against a True Villain

This was inspired mostly on the soundtrack from the old Star Wars movies. Aside from that it's one of the rare themes where i sort of made it spontaneously. I wanted to experiment a lot with chord progressions and time signatures, to make this theme feels very weird and unsettling. Overall I like it.
